About This Test

The PDQ-4+ (Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire) is a clinical framework that maps personality differences onto ten dimensions: paranoid, schizoid, schizotypal, histrionic, narcissistic, borderline, antisocial, avoidant, dependent, and obsessive. Everyone sits somewhere on each dimension—usually as a continuous tendency, not a yes-or-no.

This test independently authored 70 everyday-scenario questions (7 per dimension) referencing that ten-dimension framework: every "yes" adds a point to the matching style, producing a ten-dimension spectrum and your primary style. It is not a clinical instrument and cannot diagnose anything—it is a mirror for seeing your own tendencies.

Remember: a high dimension score only means that style takes up more room in your behavioral pattern. Diagnosing a personality disorder requires professionals to assess persistence and functional impairment. Treat this as a starting point for self-knowledge, not a label.

FAQ

No. This quiz uses an original question bank referencing the PDQ-4+ ten-dimension framework, for self-exploration and entertainment only. Diagnosing personality disorders requires psychiatrists or psychologists to assess persistence and functional impairment—no online test can replace that.
